This year is another great year for soccer fans as the World Cup will take place in Brazil. But before the best players will represent their country, they’ve got to finish several other competitions, like the Champions League. The best soccer players often play for the largest soccer clubs by revenue.

Deloitte has published its Football Money League, in which the highest earning clubs in the world’s most popular sport are ranked. In the report several factors are combined to determine the club’s total revenue. These are broadcast rights in both domestic leagues as international competitions such as the Champions League, matchday tickets, sponsorship, merchandising and other commercial activities. The clubs that made it into the top 10 list all play in Europe. Corinthians, a Brazilian club, is listed 24th, and is the only club from South America with revenues over 100 million annually.
